These terms cover your use of the Flip Search app, made by Timothy Squires ("I", "me"). By using the app you agree to them, along with Apple's Standard License Agreement for apps, which also applies. If anything here conflicts with Apple's agreement, Apple's agreement wins. Questions? Email flipsearch.app@gmail.com.
Flip Search is for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment. Please don't copy, resell or redistribute the puzzles, artwork, music or code, or try to get around purchases or ads.
Memberships and monthly packs are sold through the App Store, and Apple handles billing, renewals, cancellations and refunds. Memberships renew automatically until you cancel in Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions. Pack purchases are yours to keep. Free trials, if offered, turn into paid memberships at the end of the trial unless you cancel first.
When you send a puzzle through Submit Your Own, you confirm it's your own work, and you give me permission to use, edit and share it in Flip Search and its promotion, without payment. If your puzzle is shared, I'll credit you by the name and place you gave (never your email address). Not every puzzle sent in will be used. Ask any time and I'll stop using your puzzle in future updates.
While the first real player puzzles are being made and reviewed, some daily puzzles marked as player-made are samples created by Flip Search, credited to example players. These show a small "Sample puzzle" note while you play. As real submissions are chosen, they replace the samples.
Your results are saved on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own iCloud account, so they come back if you reinstall the app. To erase them, open the menu (☰) and choose Help › Delete my game data. See the Privacy Policy for details.
The app changes over time: puzzles, packs, prices and features may be added, changed or removed. If these terms change, the new date will appear at the top of this page.
Flip Search is provided as is. I work hard to keep it running smoothly, but I can't promise it will always be free of errors or available. To the extent the law allows, I'm not responsible for losses that come from using the app.
